The Xbox 360 has been fraught with problems since their releases back in 2005, most notably the ring of death or three red lights. This problem and a few of the other main problems E74 etc are caused by the solder contacts under the BGA chips cracking.
The solution is to reflow all solder contacts by giving the motherboard a heat treatment. This repair will work for most Xbox 360 consoles and we charge £30.00 for this service.
If you get an open tray message, even when a good working game is in the DVD drive you have one of two problems. Sometimes the laser needs replaced sometimes you need a whole DVD drive replacement. Laser replacement costs £40.00, drive replacement costs £50.00.
